We really lucked out by choosing Thistle Tours to see the Highlands. Our tour included the Clava Cairns, the Culloden Battlefields, Cawdor Castle, Loch Ness, Urquart Castle, hairy coos and more!

Our guide, June, was fantastic from beginning to end and was really knowledgeable about the area and the history. And she was a lovely person to spend the day with.

We also really like the small group van like Thistle uses vs large motor coaches. We could not have been happier with the whole experience and we have done a lot of traveling so we know what a great excursion it was. We highly recommend Thistle Tours.

When booking your tour please choose carefully which castle you wish to visit. Either Cawdor, Urquhart or Dunrobin. You can visit one on your tour but when doing the Cawdor visit you will see Urquhart beside Loch Ness in the background, but you do not visit both.  Time does not allow.
